Today Activision announced a few of the artists to be featured in the game, including Black Eyed Peas, 50 Cent, Justice, Marvin Gaye, Beck, Beastie Boys, and N.E.R.D. It was already known that DJ Shadow would be involved in creating some of the mixes for DJ Hero, and now DJ Z-Trip and DJ AM are confirmed as well. I'm still a little fuzzy as to how, exactly, DJ Hero will use all this music, and the images of the turntable controller that have been released so far have provided me with zero insight as to how the game will actually play, though I'm sure this will all be much, much clearer when we finally see the game for ourselves at E3 next week.
