Metallica Gets Magnetic, Heroic

First off Ryan, if that is your real name, The Unforgiven III is a very good song. Maybe if you take a listen to the new album (it's all over YouTube and Metallica's own website) your Metallica needs can begin and end with Death Magnetic.

Personally, Master of Puppets is the greatest Album Metallica'll ever release.

But this Death Magnetic is the most promising since The Black Album

Yeah, they are putting two versions of one song out...I think it's the one where James is saying retarded lyrics like "Suicide, I've already died, and something blah blah why don't you shut the door?"  I don't know, it didn't interest me much for more than a laugh.  Either way, the other version just has an extended solo.  I think it's pretty crappy that...ya know...they are putting out this album, and then they are like "Hey, Kirk wrote this extended solo on this song just for the Guitar Hero crowd...so if you are a REAL Metallica fan, you gotta buy all six editions of our album, the digital download, and the GH III download!!!"

Ugh.  Stupid money...

Yup, they have three unforgiven songs now, I personally like all of them. I have heard the album, and I like it, but I don't know if I will download it on GH3, I am kind of done with that game. Now, if the album was on Rock Band, I would defintely buy it.

Kill em all, Ride The Lighning, master of Puppets, and justice for all own all. YIKES. 20 bucks? you can buy Death Magnetic 2 Times at stores almost!

Metallica ROCKS 4 ever!

Any metallica before and including ...and justice for all are awesome. Anything after, sucks hard (save for the black album, that only kinda sucked). Supposedly the new one is like old-school metallica, which i want to check out. But the new track packs sound pretty cool.

Will wait for Guitar Hero World Tour then buy it, theres a few sweet songs on the album so it should be good.

No, the one they're releasing multiple versions of is Suicide & Redemption, the instrumental track on DM. The one you were thinking of is Cyanide (which does suck).

i'm not too picky...kinda kinda enjoyed listening to all their albums...

i'm being kind of hypocritical though, since i hated St. Anger :\

friday couldn't come any sooner though...i already listened to the album through "alternative means" that i know fully well everyone here knows about, and for what it's worth Death Magnetic is exponentially better than St. Anger...good enough reason for me to want to buy it.

Oops...forgive me for that blunder.  The crappy live recording on their MySpace for "Cyanide" didn't give me a chance to really tell what the lyrics were.  I just remembered seeing something about a song called "Suicide & Redemption" and automatically put the two together.

Looking at your mustache one would think that you were a Motorhead or Metallica fan (like someone else said).
In reality you like The Killers and some other pop rock (mainstream) here and there.  But I still like you as a reviewer... except for that condemned 2 review.

Meh. Only time I'm going to invest in Guitar Hero is if/when they release some Iron Maiden. The Number of the Beast and The Trooper were awesome[even though the vocals on The Trooper sucked],, I wanna play songs like Hallowed Be Thy Name, Flight of Icarus, Heaven Can't Wait, etc.

I think he was being sarcastic about "Unforgiven II". Reguardless, listen to the Kill Em All album.

Great, another CD from most overrated metal band of all time.  Well, can you even consider them metal anymore?  God they suck...

Haha, Im so tired of people proclaiming Metallica is dead. And Ryan, theres a reason theres a Unforgiven trilogy, its a saga the band has been working on ever since the Black album. And in my opinion the Unforgiven III is one of the best songs since Justice For All. So suck on those potaters.
