If this kind of thing turns your crank, Kingdom Under Fire may be for you!I don't think Circle of Doom won many people over to the Kingdom Under Fire franchise earlier this year. But before KUF was a middling third-person hack-and-slash action-RPG, it was an excellent couple of Xbox-based strategy-brawlers that combined the wholesale battlefield slaughter of Dynasty Warriors with real-time strategy controls that let you directly command entire batallions of infantry, archers, and cavalry as the battle rages around you. Also, there's a lot of righteous headbanging death metal in there. It's good for the soul.
Kingdom Under Fire is high fantasy for manly men, the kind who relish Iron Maiden album covers and covet giant battle axes. There are no fey spiky hairstyles in here, no sir. Now there are cornrows. As seen in this trailer!
This trailer popped up on Gamersyde. The official Kingdom Under Fire II site still hasn't posted it, though, so I have no idea where this came from. But it certainly looks real. Really awesome, that is.
