Remember in the original game when protagonist's face was never seen, he slept in a bureau, smoked hash and we it was about assassination, not vendetta? Now look at this sequel. We are a notorious youth, with a family, we assassinate to seek revenge, WE REPAIR A CITY TO GET MONEY. although, we wear a creepy hoody all the time and have a hidden blade on our wrist! now how much more stupid can it get? AC I was very boring, and historically fictional, but at least, we were an assassin, not an asshole.

Not really following what's wrong with the changes. At least the story is more interesting this time, and the main character isn't a blank slate with no personality.

    I understand your point.

    But it's a personal taste.

If the diference in gameplay is understandable, it's not stupid.

In the original I totally didn't mind being some random asshole strictly out to stab people in the neck.

I haven't played the second one yet and I fully intend to, but from what I'm hearing I don't see why the more character is a bad thing....

So much fail. Why do people feel like we as readers like to hear them complain?

I totally disagree. I feel like they actually gave Ezio a sense of importance. Like you care what happens to him, and you, feel something for him - whether you hate or like him as a character.

That makes the game better than the original.

They vaguely ripped off The Count of Monte Cristo here, and if you rip off a classic novel its bound to improve your game in some ways.
