Baldi's Basics Plus

Overview

Baldi's Basics Plus (stylized as Baldi's Basics +) is an indie comedic first-person survival horror game in development by Basically Games for the PC, Mac, and Linux. It was originally released in Steam Early Access format on June 12, 2020.

It is the commercial sequel to the 2018 freeware game Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning and, like the original, is a parody of cheaply-made PC edutainment games of the 1990's (most notably Sonic's Schoolhouse).

Much of the core gameplay is the same, as players must collect notebooks scattered around the school while avoiding schoolmaster Baldi. Unlike the original game, though, it does not start with a subversion and instead has Baldi playing hide-and-seek with the player. The game includes numerous additions and changes, including new characters, new gameplay mechanics, new procedurally-generated levels, random events, and new game modes.
