So I'm getting this message when clicking the Battlefield 4 download button within Origin.

    No Caption Provided

And yet I have 64-bit Windows 8, as evidenced below.

Anyone know why this could be?

I don't know, but I can safely say Windows 8 partition was probably a bad decision on your part.

    Well fantastic. Issues abound.

    What partition?

...Are you just trying to say that I should've gone with Windows 7?

@jjweatherman: Never mind, uninstalling/reinstalling Origin and the beta fixed my issue.

Except now I can't get into any games because it's saying punkbuster is failing to initiate

    OMG, 7.9 Windows score?

...and here I am at 7.6, like a sucker.

@jjweatherman: Partition is more or less a term for installation of an OS. And yeah, Win7 probably would've been the way to go.

Okay. I usually only hear partition used when differentiating between a multi-partition drive.

And we can agree to disagree about Windows 8, ha.

Man, get with the program. You've gotta be about it or be without it.

On a related note, I noticed that that meaningless score actually goes up to 9.9 now, which makes only slightly more sense.

Punkbuster? Wow, really? Isn't that thing ancient?

Yeah, no. Pretty sure you can have partitions without an OS on them.

Oh yeah, that's right. It's been a while, my terms are a little rusty.
