But seriously, this game is the best multilayer game of this gen (excluding TF2) and I hope they don't ruin it by releasing BC3 or BF3 anytime soon.

Yes it's awesome.  You're right though I hope EA doesn't force them release BC3 in a year.  I think it'll be alright because EA also has the new Medal of Honor game, so they can let BC2 multiplayer keep going.

The multiplayer is one of the best this gen, no question. Only problem is the crippling lag that has creeped in these past few weeks. I've heard they are doing a server update this Tuesday. If they don't fix this lag problem soon I am going to be pissed.

MW2 is awful. Lag, hackers and boring gameplay. But somehow it's addictive has hell. BC2 is awesome :)

It would be better if the maps were wider and there weren't so many stupid people playing.  They need to either introduce a mandatory training mode or bring back friendly fire, which never should have been removed in the first place.

But yeah, BC2 is pretty good, though now I've unlocked everything I'm finding it hard to go back... feel like I've finished it.

Yeah, I love the multiplayer in this game. I'm 110 hours in and I'm still not bored :).

Bad Company 2 has great online. The single player for the first game was much funnier which is what I missed in this game but doesn't stop me from playing it online, something awesome always happens like shooting a humvey with an rpg  or tank that makes it go flying then crashes through a fence, or a helicopter sweeping down so low that it's unreal that the pilot didn't crash. I definately prefer the online on BC2 compared to MW2. Personal opinion though.

I got it last week for PC, and I agree, it's awesome! 
My only beef with the game is how terrible the knifing is, especially in multiplayer. 
Other than that, it's pretty sweet. Haven't been able to play much of it due to school, but what I've done so far has been excellent. 
I love that they still have the random banter between Sweetwater and Haggard!
