-They say its the greatest Battlefield game since Battlefield 2.
-The Progression system in Multiplayer is amazing.
-All the modes are a blast to play
-The maps are amazing and everyone is unique.
-They say the campaign is awesome and crafted extremely well.
-Storyline is good and characters are quote "have more personality than all the protagonists from Call of Duty, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, and Medal of Honor combined". (YES)
Negatives
-Sometimes parties get split up
-Stats don't update fast enough from recent games
-And....killcam (Suprise!)
Overall Verdict -"Bad Company 2 is a memorable shooter that should be a favored destination on Xbox Live an PlayStation Network for much of 2010"

Summary of Gameinformer's Early Review (9.5/10) - Minor Spoilers
My roommate doesn't usually play games other than Madden and Rainbow Six Vegas 2, but I got him into the demo and me and him have been playing it mercilessly. We're pretty addicted. Playing as a medic is the funnest shit in the world. Running up and defibrillating a downed teammate always compels me to yell "LIVE, DAMNIT!" or "GET UP SOLDIER!" Definitely buying this game. Never thought I'd pick up a Battlefield game anytime soon.

thats a retarded statement. All of those assholes in this game cannot possibly have more personality than Gaz/Ghost.
Anyway, this sounds like a loaded review, just seems like the guy played it once, came on himself and then went off to write. I will wait for reviews that dont sound like they were written by a dude ready to suck off the developers.
That being said, I did enjoy the demo, though the first person gun animation when walking is retarded, and there seem to be a shit load of people sniping at anyone time on the attacker side. I like the destructibility of the environments, destruction 2.0. And for some reason I love the pistol. Though I found the aiming to be a little odd when aiming down the sight. It seems like a solid game, but still not Battlefield 3.

" @TheHBK: uh oh MW2 fanboy getting all angry >:( great to see a good review can't wait for this. "Calm down fool, no fanboy here, just a Gaz/Ghost fan. I am not some FPS elitist that hates great games just because they are popular and have to say, wait for BFBC2 it will be better. No, I like games and will play them if good, thats why I am looking forward to this release.
@mosdl:
I think medic may have just replaced Engineer as my favorite class in the Battlefield series.
Definitly not a valid negative point (other than the killercam being a little glitchy and fugly at times), especially given the fact that everybody has the choice to play 'realism mode' instead, which doesn't have a killercam. Guess the Gameinformer reviewers didn't get to play hardcore mode for the early review. 'Realism mode' will definitly be very well received amongst the CoD-crazed gamespress, since its balancing will be a lot closer to the Modern Warfare games damage-wise.
" Why does everyone hate killcam?! "Because it's hard to be sneaky or snipe when you kill a guy and he tells everyone where you are.

That kills that complaint though, that's cool news.
While i love MW2, i am really looking forward to Battlefield Bad Company 2
i loved the first Battlefield Bad Company, and at this point with all the glitches and exploits, combined with the slow release of patches from IW, i think a break from MW2 is due. at least until they patch it up and release some map packs. the Battlefield series just offers a different style of FPS that is a welcome change from the call of duty series, both are great but different, kind of like different toppings on a pizza.
the community in Battlefield games tends to be a little different as well, usually some more teamwork going on, so thats a plus.
What's so bad about the kill cam? You can never really tell where the player is with the kill cam because it purposely gives bad camera angles. Unless, of course he is beside a unique landmark.
