Rented this from Redbox and every single game I enter tends to be me, another dude, and the remainder is bots. Do I have some settings set incorrectly or is there barely anyone playing this on the 360?

It's not too bad. It would be way better if I wasn't playing against an entire team of bots. :(

I mean hell, there were more people playing Shadowrun.

It came out the week before LA Noire, so I'm sure a lot of people skipped it. That and it wasn't that great of a game.

Yeah, the poor reviews probably led to poor sales, and now it's more or less dead (at least on consoles). Looking at Majornelson's Xbox live activity chart, it's not even in the top 20 games being played on live.

Not to mention the "patch" that cut the player limit in half and replaced it with bots.

Apparently seeing the string of words "all the people" is all it takes to get John Lennon's "Imagine" stuck in my head. Weird.

The same thing is happening on PC. This morning I checked in and found about a dozen active servers, each with between one and three people.

Pretty much. On top of that, I've bought too many arcade titles and retail titles with multiplayer where my friends who DO play, just stop playing it a week or so later.

Which seems to be what everyone does, because then the community for it dies.  I get the feeling that if you aren't Call of Duty, Halo, or Gears of War you might as well not even try on the xbox.

EDIT: Which is sad, because I remember awesome matches in Shadowrun. I remember long-strategic rounds of Rainbow six vegas. I remember Playing Bomberman on Live and  ALWAYS finding tons of players.

    :(
