    Overview

Chamber of the Sci-Mutant Priestess is a DOS adventure game. It has been re-released by Classics Digital on Steam. Also known by the name KULT: The Temple of the Flying Saucers outside of America.

The game is a point and click adventure game, where the player must go to a room, pass the challenge and obtain a skull. There is the expected inventory item management, and clicking on object to inspect or use or talk etc. The player also has a list of several sci powers to use, although it's not explained ingame what each does.

The style, writing and aesthetic of the game is very unusual. The menu for interacting with objects is a brain with little bubble buttons for each one. Player health is recorded by a fetus talking speaking via text to the player, from the top left hand of the screen. Much of the game is inscrutable, and bizarre with strange creatures, and objects that are difficult to define. Inspection of many of the objects reveals no real description, and the ability to taste or kiss many objects adds to the strangeness.
