So I just got this email saying that Champions Online is going free-to-play on the 25th of January and it made me thinking. Is anyone else excited for this?
 
I've been wanting to try this game out ever since it came out but I never wanted to pay a subscription fee to do so so I'm excited.

I played it at launch, and it very much feels like City of Heroes. I liked the game, but it was missing a lot a mid to late game content. Hopefully they will have filled it out a bit more in the year or so since release. Glad it's going free to play, the instanced nature of the servers made if feel strange to pay a monthly fee.

There's something off with with Champions Online. The music is repetitive and gets on my tits, I think the art style of the game sucks, and I really dislike the environments and characters.

Serious question...game good or no?
