Cloud Gardens is an upcoming 3D gardening game with light puzzle elements. The game takes place over a series of wasteland dioramas. Players are tasked with overgrowing each diorama by planting seeds, and then growing them out by placing various items next to the plants.
Over time the players unlock new plants, each with their own growing properties. Different plants are useful for providing coverage to different environments, which plays into the puzzle themes.
The game is split into a linear campaign mode, and a freeform sandbox mode. Playing levels in the campaign unlocks new items and plants to use in the sandbox mode.
