Johnny Sasaki is a recurring figure in the Metal Gear Solid series known for his weak intestinal fortitude. Initially a comic relief figure seen in Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2, he is given a more prominent role in Metal Gear Solid 4.
Jonathan was Big Boss' friend that he met during the San Hieronymo Peninsula. Jonathan was shot, and killed, by diving in front of a bullet aimed at Big Boss.
Little John is Raiden & Rose's son. At first it was believed by most people that he was Rose & Roy Campbell's son, but that was cover up so that the Patriots didn't harm him.
A supporting character in the Metal Gear Solid series. Mei Ling invented Snake's wireless communication equipment, the Codec, as well the Soliton Radar, which detects the positions and field of vision of nearby enemy soldiers.
At first, Roy Cambell was believed to only be Meryl's uncle. However, Meryl would eventually find out that Roy Cambell was in fact her biological father. A result of an affair between Roy and Meryl's mother (Roy's brother's wife). Meryl tells Snake that she would "never forgive that womanizing piece of shit." But during her wedding, it appears as if the two have finally reconciled as Roy was offered to walk her down the aisle.
A scientist who appears in Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 4. She is responsible for the creation of FOXDIE, and partially responsible for the creation of FOXALIVE.
Nastasha Romanenko is a Ukrainian weapons analyst. She helps Solid Snake via Codec in the Shadow Moses Incident. She speaks fluent English and Russian and is quite possibly the only person in the franchise who enjoys smoking more than Snake. Her voice actors are Renee Raudman and Eiko Yamada.
The brainy character from the Metal Gear Solid series, Hal "Otacon" Emmerich is one of Snake's closest friends. The nickname Otacon comes from his fascination with the Japanese Sub-Culture known as 'Otaku.'
Rosemary is a supporting character in Metal Gear Solid 2 and 4.
Solid Snake told Naomi that he only had two friends, one of which being Roy Campbell.
