I'm also with Danny in that I don't understand why this is bad. I'm sure there's some sort of scientific reason with the carbonation and I don't know...the potassium in the bananas? But it seems like something that could just happen to anyone by accident.

Good lord Dan is a noisy puker. No matter what the podcast shit Dan and Danny are putting together is like, this video makes the whole trip worthwhile.

As soon as I read some comments, I decided I didn't need to watch it.

Skipped to the end, Dan's puking in a toilet, his final Replay appearance had a tribute that ended with just that, and now I'm curious how many hundreds of times that has happened off camera.

@milkman: Hearing them describe it, it seems like the bananas trap the gas from the carbonated drink. So you wouldn't really be barfing because you ate too much or something bad, you're "burping" the mush out to get rid of gas.

I don't get why this is a thing. I feel like I have eaten bananas and drank sprite and I don't remember ever puking. What's the difference between Sprite and say Coca Cola in this regard? Why does it have to be Sprite? If it's carbonation and potassium mixing that would indicate even beer would be a trigger. Or a whole manner of things. I wonder what the reaction is here.

There are worse things to puke up than bananas, though. At least bananas taste mostly fine even coming back up. The sprite would help, too.

Having vomited a lot in my life (and not even due solely to alcohol reasons) I know that Pizza and really anything with tomato sauce is the worst vomit. The. worst.

Anyway, this wasn't as gross as I expected. I feel for Dan. Having to vomit, but not being able to and mostly dry vomiting, is really painful. The only thing worse is probably vomiting due to mace because you can't stop dry heaving.

Oh, that's just... I opted to turn it off once it all 'began' because no thanks. Maybe it's just me but watching someone throw up isn't my idea of entertainment.

Unfortunately, it is Dan's idea of entertainment. Its no way to live your life.

Shouldn't have watched this right after eating, but oh well.

Danny is gonna come back a changed man from this trip, isn't he?
