I spent about an hour making my female character. What do you think? My first character in Dark Souls is always a female and she always has a certain name.
Post your own characters and lets compare!

Dark Souls 2 Character Creation: Hot or Not?
A little heavy on the makeup for my taste, but still better than anything I saw come out of the last two games.
I'm actually really excited to try out the character creator. It seems much improved over the previous games. Not that that's hard, considering they were kinda awful.
It's on a completely different level when compared to the Dark Souls character creation options. I actually made her with my sister watching so she provided recommendations for the eye makeup. It makes her eye color pop I think. It's a bit more pronounced in the photos, but she looks really good on screen.
Wow, I'm surprised a female character model can look that good. Did you have to work super hard in the advanced options for that?
I went through every single advanced option and saw what each slider did on each end of the extreme. You can get some pretty messed up faces, but the changes on each tick are so subtle that I feel like you can really make what you want. I think it took me an hour to make her.
EDIT: She didn't start to really take on her form until I was able to get to the nose and the mouth. Her eyes and face shape got really good once the other options started tucking and pulling here and there. It doesn't really come together until you're almost done.
Now I want there to be a reality TV show where some women and sassy gay men assess video game characters' outfits and give them style tips on what they're doing wrong.
Put Tetsuya Nomura on as a guest judge who does nothing but yell at people for not incorporating enough belts and zippers on their outfits, and you've got yourself a hit!
Very impressed you made such a pretty character. I'm more of a dark hair, with dark eyes kinda guy myself, but still, very cool.
Here is mine. I do wish I had tweaked a few things on her face. Her nose especially I don't like that its so large. Her name is Momiji as is pretty much all of my created female characters I make because well... Momiji.
I was initially going for Miria from Claymore, but there was no hair option that was close to what she has. It's disappointing to see so few hair options.
I would have spent a lot of time making someone that looked cool, but all I want it a sweet helmet to wear and I'll never see their face again.
I will appreciate it if you can tell me which settings are crucial and what factors aren't really vital to getting the face just right.
@Tylers_Gaming
How did you make her look so good? I've been messing with sliders for a good 45 min and can't get close
I made a cool guy, but accidentally turned him into a girl by going in that coffin in the first area, and didn't realize until a long while later.
I've been working on picking up all the pieces of the Desert Sorceress set to make my Fashion Souls PVP girl an official contender. I have multiple copies of every set, but I just can't get the gloves to drop.
If anyone has an extra pair they'd be willing to give/trade for then let me know. I've learned that it doesn't really matter what she wears for PVP as long as I can keep dodging everything so I figure I should just make her look good. She looks great with her two handed Uchigatana.
It's really dumb how much time I spend on making characters in Dark Souls considering you never seem their face and if you do they're probably a zombie. Anyways, here's what I did in DS2. *the following pictures are brought to you by the power of the PSVita. Sorry*
My character wouldn't be caught dead in those sorceress clothes though, 'cause she's kind of a badass. I got a whole bio worked out.
If I find my camera I'll try to post my characters here also, I spend a LOT of time in the character creator so I'm gonna at least try to show them off.
Edit: Until then ya'll can feast your eyes on my original Dark souls abominations creations.
Strangely if you invest like an hour or two you can get a good looking female character. So far every male character I have made/seen though either looks average or like crap. It is a sad day when I prefer the look of my Demon's Souls character over that of my Dark Souls 2 one who somehow came out like crap even though he looked fine in the creator.

Bottom left reminds me of Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star. I kinda hope he went around punching dudes to death.
I guess I know who I'm making when the PC version releases.
@capum15: That is what I was going for yes :) It was for the cestus run I did.
I didn't have a reference picture, otherwise I would have done a few things, like the shape of his nose, differently.

Awesome. And that's pretty great without using a reference.
I also want to try making a dude looking similar to Major Armstrong from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, though I doubt it'll work without the hair and mustache.
Punching my way through the game with a character resembling either of those two would be magical.
@capum15: There's a pretty glorious mustache in Dark Souls 2 that might fit the bill for Armstrong, no options for the hair though and I don't think you can make your guy approriately huge enough, sadly.
@jacksukeru: Yeah, figured the hair wouldn't be a thing and size wouldn't scale to "human tank". Maybe someone will put a mod in for the hair after the PC version releases. At least I could probably slap lightning onto the Cestus...es? And I think I have seen the mustache (or at least another good one) which seems awesome.
This wait until late April is saddening.
@omegashin: she looks like the kiss ass chick on Brooklyn 911. Nicely done!
