Amazon changed my ship date to the middle of December, and the page on Gamestop.ca keeps getting pulled down.

Also I don't want to hear anything about how this game was meant to be played without a guide and whatnot. I really like the game, and I want the thing primarily as a collector's item since it's apparently very well put together.

I got it from the book depository when it was still available.

They got them in games stores here.

I find it amusing that a game of Dark Souls brutality would have a strategy guide. Figured it would be the last thing the devs would want you to have.

Well, the strategy guide has a foreword by Charlie Sheen entitled "You are a Loser".

@Anwar: NO Im guessing from my XP with Demons Souls. And if thats true that From worked on it, I wouldnt trust it. They would put lies in there to deceive gamers into thinking that Dark Souls dosent hate them.

Ordered mine at the same time as the game from Zavvi, but the guide has been pushed back a week. I guess stock actually was an issue for some places.

@Anwar: Im sorry I misread you. But with Froms way of being devilsihly brutal in their game design it wouldnt surprise me if they did want to include false or misleading info to screw with players. I mean just look a the pre release slaughter story for how awesomely cruel they can be, It was meant as a joke. Ligjhten up Francis.
