The first DLC for Darkest Dungeon is out, called The Crimson Court. It adds a new region with new enemies and it has a unique mechanic where there is no Light and Dark. There is only 'Blood Light' which means your heroes are less resistant to bleed. Not so coincidentally, most enemies revolve around dealing bleed damage and regain health from bleed effects. Torches in this zone will increase your Accuracy for a single battle.

It also adds a new class of which I forget the name, the Flaggelation...er? Which revolves around inflicting bleed and having very powerful skills if his health is below 50%. There is also new loot and a new feature called Districts, where you can build new buildings which have various beneficial effects.

I have played about 5 hours of it so far, and I like it. It is quite a good addition to the game, though there isn't incredibly much to it. That said, it is accurately priced at 10 bucks, which I find fair.

    How are people liking this?

The one thing that is a kind of lame is the DLC is $10, but if you buy the DD complete version they are selling the total cost is only $12.58.

I really like the art of the new enemies. I have been thinking about getting back into the game but might wait a bit. I got my fill of it when it was in EA.

@artisanbreads: A lot has changed since early access. As for the DLC itself though, it is that 'augment' style of DLC that XCOM usually does. It's great if you intend to play the game again anyway, but if you wouldn't, then there isn't anything to come back for. Noteworthy is that this DLC seems to work even with campaigns in progress, which is neat.

I really like this type of DLC, for this type of game.
