    I am right in thinking that retail copies of this game (PC version at least) came with buddy keys?
     
    If anyone has one spare I'd love to give it ago - I've got a Starcraft II 7 hour/14 day guest pass if anyone wants that!

    Yep, the retail copies come with a buddy key; I believe it's a 10 day key though. If someone didn't have a retail copy but instead downloaded their copy from Steam, would they be able to use it? I'm asking because it says your friend needs to insert the dvds and then, after giving your friend the buddy key, they need to go to www.dcuniverseonline.com/buddykey and follow what ever instructions they give you.

    I'm a steam victim as well and have a friend who is on the fence about the game.  Why on earth SOE wouldn't want as many people to buy their game as possible is beyond me but whatever.  If anybody has one, I would be most grateful
