Wow, I wasn't expecting it to score that high, I may as well get this over Silent Hill.

I may end up grabbing this game with that Toys 'R Us deal going on later this week...I must say that I'm surprised it got that high of a score. I always thought the game looked good, but I felt like it was going to disappoint...though it could still disappoint me. :P

IGN is bought and paid for. (this is a drunk post, more or less relevance, er, fueled by whiskey)

I planned on getting this game down the line, but all these limited editions with their artbooks are always enticing me, and I know they will be gone by the time I go to buy this game. I'm still going to hold off, but I will be jealous of those with artbooks. :(

/christmas list

Still probably going to rent it, but it's worth playing however you do it. On the topic of the video review, these guys always say, "Rejoice" and it pissed me off.

Its looked fantastic for most of this year. At some point that game fell under the radar and never really came back from that. But I read IGN's impressions of it and they were positive about it the whole time. So a month or so ago I watched those videos about the game and really got interested. Decided to buy it.

This one will be worth it.

If I had to get one game this Christmas season, this would be the one...and it WILL be the one.  Everything else can eat chode until next year.

Promising, but IGN is never a definitive review for me, so I'll wait and see what a few more trusted outlets say.

Nice..I already had planned on getting this since it looked really good to me, I didn't expect it to get that good of a score anywhere though regardless, so I'm really happy about this.

....you're point? I'm pretty sure it was the first real review of the game that anyone would care to hear about... there aren't reviews floating around for the game everywhere yet.

I think I'll wait for Artie's review to see when I will buy this game. He tells it like it is.

Psyched and not psyched about the game. I like the the way the game looks and how it plays but the fact that pretty much every enemy looks the same and attacks in the same way really turns me off. Might rent it.

Yeah it does Dem, I saw a list of them a few days ago somewhere, just do a google search of it and you should be able to bring up a list of them if you like, but yep they do.

I think i'll rent this one.I like Resident Evil,and this game looks quite similiar(with maybe a bit more thinking),but I have to budget how I spend my money on games.In fact most big games coming out this year i will have to rent cause the money simply is not there,due to school.In fact the only games I will probably buy this year are GoW 2 Fallout 3 and Wrath of the Lich King.

I am going to wait for a few other reviews but this game still looks pretty sweet.  It is weird how the review was pretty positive but the 8.7 was pretty much for problems that the reviewer said were easily tolerated.  Still gonna get it, looks awesome and scary.

This will be my next review.
