Good on ya. My first time though I was equipped only to stealth my way out of there.

I enjoyed murdering them all on my 'guns-blazing' playthough.

At first I wasn't aware it was possible to save her.

I died a lot until I pulled out my grenade shooting revolver and cleared the area in 15 seconds.

The game becomes easy mode when you get that upgrade, don't hesitate.

Yeah I just managed to save her playing on Give me Deus Ex, I never thought I would do it. You feel really great afterwards. One of the best and most memorable moments in a game ever. If the last levels are not entirely crap this game will definitely be my GOTY.

@Winger: Can't use lethal guns if you're going for 0 kills.

So I just saved Malik's tight ass while still not killing anyone. That took some fast damn footwork, all the energy bars I had saved up and lots of Stealth usage, as well as a couple of darts and an EMP all in a space of 1-2 mins.
That shit drained a lot out of me, but damn if it didn't feel good afterwards :)
Now to go buy myself a beer. Thankfully there are plenty of shops around still open at 1am
