Personally he is one of my favorite characters in the series.

He's okay. I just wish he would stick around more often, I could have really used his help busting striders in Episode 2.

Definitely has a lot of character and seems to have almost human reactions a times.  It's easy to love him when he constantly comes to your rescue!  He's probably the coolest character because of the way he can attack the Combine and their vehicles.

Yeah, he's great.

Dog is the best dog in the history of dogs, even though he isn't technically a dog.

Dog is awesome.  He can do just about anything, and yeah, he does seem almost human at times.  Like the start of Ep 1, before he throws you across the canyon, when Alyx asks him if he did the calculation, and he shakes his head...I lol'd at that.

DOG is a lovable and amusing character. I'd actually feel slightly sad if DOG was killed.

For a split second, I hoped this was about the bounty hunter. And then when I realised it was about the Half-Life 2 robot, I wished it was about the bounty hunter.

Dog is definitely my favorite robot sidekick in recent memory.  He doesn't have smarmy remarks or a European accent.  He's just a big android who genuinely loves Alyx.  That's enough for me.
