The dude looked awesome and I really wish you could get him on your team.
The quest I found was actually really interesting.

Anyone else like the Qunari mage quest?
They explain away in some of the fiction that Sten was one of the few Qunari born without horns. Those are the ones they intentionally send out amongst other races because they are far less frightening. A rather obvious but effective bit of rewriting the fiction. Though I will agree that the horned Quanari are pretty amazing looking.

When i first saw the Qunari in DA2 i didn't know they were Qunari because of the horns. I'll admit i was pretty confused for awhile, it's like if Wrex was the only Krogan in ME1 and then you find out in ME2 the rest of them look completly different.
I liked the quest fine but I did not want him as a party member because there are too many mages already. If he had been a warrior that wasn't tied to being a dick to mages or a law enforcer, well then I'd have a different opinion.

You guys are pretty early, talking about old Sten like that.
Sten was my favorite DAO character. Mainly because of how strongly militaristic the Qunari values are. They just don't F around. He was your typical "badass" no nonsense character.
And just like in most games, the "badass" characters are usually the big strong bruisers with the bastard-sword & Adamantium Armour.
Just how cool would it be to see that same type of "badass" persona, on a character who wears a silk robe & waves a stick around?
I would have kicked my boring sister off the mountain (in game... not real life you monsters!) if it meant I could have the Qunari Mage in my party.
" @ryanwho: Actually, Sten is not his name. It's a rank, same with Arishok. This means the Sten from DA:O is not the same Sten as the ones you see in DA2. "Are you sure? Cus it felt like I was refighting the same Sten. You could never mutilate the Sten's body which led me to believe it was supposed to represent the same person every time.
" @MariachiMacabre said:You fight like 10-15 Stens by the end of the Quanari conflict. They frequently lead the groups." @ryanwho: Actually, Sten is not his name. It's a rank, same with Arishok. It's just a rank.
