The Dragon Age: Legends beta has recently begun in earnest with the team distributing beta keys through Twitter, Facebook, and sign up. I currently have my own beta account and like any good duder I thought that I should share the fun with fellow bombers.
So without further ado I'll be giving out two beta keys to the Legends game.
Dragon Age II
Game » consists of 16 releases. Released Mar 08, 2011
This sequel to Dragon Age: Origins features faster combat, a new art style, and a brand new, fully voiced main character named Hawke.

Deadline
Within the next hour or two I'll return and pick the best two best responses and PM you the beta key. In Origins I really enjoyed the strategic feel of the combat (PC Version here). The ability to out flank my opponents and ambush them with spells was the best part of the game.
In DA2 I hope they improve the character's personalities. I really liked (some of) the deep characters in Mass Effect 2, and a lot of the characters in DA:O felt flat by comparison. Hopefully DA2 has some improvements in this area.
I personally really liked the character development in Origins, it's something I felt it did a lot better than Mass Effect. Your team was pretty varied, ranging from a witch, an ex-templar, a bard, a stone golem.. and they all had their own motives for being there, unlike in a lot of RPG's where you meet up with a character and they seem to come with you, just for the hell of it. A lot of the interactions between the different members was also quite amusing.. I loved Leliana talking to Shale about shoes and Morrigan and Alister's constant bickering.
With Dragon Age 2, I'm really hoping to see this taken a step further. We know the game takes place through-out a 10 year time period, so it should be great seeing how the relationships between these characters really develop over time.
P.S. I'm a huge fan of Jade Empire and would be love to get into the beta to get that armour!
Actual repercussions; I already have a good sense that they might just improve on this. Because the game spans over a decade, you will actually manage to literally find out what happened after you made your choices.
I just hated how I choose to annihilate the elves; and only be greeted with a a few lines saying how the Werewolves were hunted down after not so long. I'd have loved to find out that's what happened due to my choices, and maybe even act upon it by hunting them down myself.
There was not a moment in the first game where I felt my actions had repercussions apart from maybe a group member leaving that I invested a lot of time in. That seems like a bad way to force a choice upon the player.
What I enjoyed most was the silly banter, and that seems hard to improve upon - they just shouldn't take over the Awakenings system when it comes down to it. Maybe a mix of Origins / Awakening with Points of Interest [much like Mass Effect 2].

Thanks! I took DLXD-XHMW-2DFR-A4XK!
Dragon Age took me back to old school games.
You start em up, you play em, you have no clue what the fuck you are doing but you are loving it.
Sure enough, at the end of the Noble origin I was already in tears by the amazingly crafted story and the superb scene where your mother defends your dad while you get urged to flee. Strong stuff.
I hope Dragon Age 2 will improve upon the combat, which felt a lil stale and slow at times, I especially hope the character animations of walking in combat get fixed since my idea of a epic battle is not filled with hunchbacked people crawling over the playfield.
That, and an awesome story that will be much more personal and reveal much more of one of my favorite fantasy lands.
greatest thing about DAO was character interaction. You truly felt like you like you were with a group of very different individuals with different goals and personalities, that you had to charm, threaten, or coerce into doing what you felt was necessary.
My hope is they give the classes real distinction, and not have so much overlap between them. I want a 2h hammer wielding warrior to play vastly different from a rogue. Likewise I hope the mage class is more fleshed out so that It doesn't feel like different sides of the same die, but instead truly distinct and consequential specializations.
