Ok, so you know how in the box art, main concept image thing for DA2, there's that dragon? And the bottom part of it's wings is the outlines of a bunch of people?  I assume everyone's noticed this by now, but here's the image if you don't know what I mean.
 

At least some of them could be your party members? They could be whited out to prevent spoilers?

I totally never noticed that...my guess is the latter, since if it IS your party, you're looking at a dozen people there. And that's... Baldur's Gate 2/Final Fantasy VI numbers (though you could still only have 4 in an active party in those games...or was it 5 in Baldur's Gate including the protagonist?).

I think they're the ones who help you out when you want to hit on a romantic interest.  They talk you up to the person and generally make you seem better than you are.  They got your back and try and keep the person focused on you when you have to go to the bar or something.

It's pretty obvious they're Hawke's entourage. That cat's straight up baller. Plus word got out Fity's got beef with him so he needs the extra body guards.
