I seriously doubt the sequel is going to be called, "Origins 2". Personally I'm hoping for Dragon Age: Origins - Harder.

dragon age 2: Shepard lost in time 

Naw, it was mentioned last week by 1UP and a bunch of other websites and let's not forget the EA business report last year that also started a rumor that Mass Effect 3 is planned for 2011.   Last year, Bioware said they have 2 years worth of DLC in the pipeline.  I'm not sure if that is still true or if they combined it to create the Awakenings expansion or what, but I bet that we will see a DAO sequel next year and a ME3.

I don't think my penis would be able to handle the concept of two complete Bioware sequels in the same year.

I can't see them pumping out a full sequel so soon, especially since EA will likely be keen on putting out DLC for as along as possible.

You guys do know that Dragon Age was supposed to be released in 2008 so 2011 is more than 2 years after that. They have had plenty time to make a sequel and thats what it is. People don't advertise DLC's 11 months in advance.

They already said they were making a Dragon Age 2.

I felt that the game mirrored Mass Effect 2 a little too much in that you spent most of your time building a group/organisation only to have the final battle come a little too quickly. Mass Effect 2 is still a brilliant game because there was a lot of interesting stuff going on all the time. I don't know about Dragon Age, I just felt that the game ended way too quickly after the Lands Meet. It was a bit of an "oh cool, got all the characters now. Finished bringing all the races together...then bam. Game Over." Is it just me or was everyone else expecting a bit more from the game?

Comparing the game to Mass Effect 2, or even 1, I didn't care about most of the characters who were following me around. To me they were just the regular bunch of characters you'd expect from any fantasy setting without adding anything new to the equation. It's been a very long time since Baldurs Gate and something new in terms of characters would be nice.

i agree, though i LOVE bioware's characters they can be a bit predictable, though jack, alistair, shale and mission from knights of the old republic were all pure genius i would like to see some more characters the don't necessarily fit with the story but somehow mend well.

I still need to find time to play the first game, so I'm hoping the sequel doesn't get released for another year.

Actually,DA is made to be a franchise,so there is NO way there will be origins in the title :D

I don't know if they've officially said that but I would be willing to put a decent amount of money on that being the case. Waiting for E3 to hopefully find out more.
