The one that just wants to help everyone, supposed to be a rouge?  Ever time i go to a chest and try to open it, she sais "Let me help you with that" or "I can handle that". So, i switch to her, try to open, insufficient skill... wtf

Yeah her skills not high enough, at first she was able to do every chest but now i always seem to get the same message, you need to put a point into her lockipicking skill when she levels up

Just having the lockpicking skill is what makes her say the line, but yea, doesnt mean her skill is high enough for the chest you're trying to open.

I find it kind of annoying that even though she says that, you have to physically take control of her to open it. Wish there was some option where if you fail to open it there she would automaticly try without needing to swap to her, unless there is and im just completly missing it.
