In the wee hours of the morning of February 22, HERO Coalition member alliance Spaceship Samurai [HONOR] released all of its sovereignty holdings in Catch. Out of 108 systems in Catch, HONOR was responsible for 11 systems. It is currently believed that a director in HONOR had been away for sometime only to return to backstab his former home. Along with dropping sovereignty, diplomatic standings were changed completely forcing longtime rival Pandemic Legion [-10.0] to appear as an ally. Early reports indicate this director had been recruited to Pandemic Legion [-10.0] with the promise of receiving his own supercarrier.
Upon learning of the territorial dispute, HERO sortied cruiser fleets to meet the opposition. Currently JBY6-F, one of the more strategically important systems in Catch, is not being held by any entity. Pressure from both sides is expected to cause fighting throughout the week. Kite Co. [GLHB] pilot Rae Kusoni was quoted referring to JBY6-F as, "logistically one of the most important systems in North Catch."
Further unconfirmed reports indicate that high level Fleet Commanders within HERO have sought relationships with enemy agents. Leaked voice recordings point to Travis Keikira as a possible suspect. Investigations throughout the week may allay concerns or lead to a formal indictment.
