I'm just curious as to what others will want to play as, an evil bloodthirsty fighter character, or a noble mage out to save everyone he can?

I will make an evil character with pure as the added attribute, and i shall use mostly sword and magic. So i shall be more around the lines of a Paladin! :D

Im probably going to make an evil dude thats good with melee instead of ranged and magic. Personally after playing so many games as the good guy its always nice to be bad ;)

make a good guy who will probably after a while be good at every thing, and then I'll make an evil guy/girl not sure on gender yet

I am gonna make a smooth talkin nobleman who cheats on his wives and is awesome.

Definitely a good character first.  Being evil isn't as much fun to me, but I'll play as an evil character eventually just to see the differences.

I always try to play an evil character, but I never succeed very well.  I guess I'm just not evil enough at heart.  But I'll probably start with a good mix of melee, magic, and guns, just to get a good mix of everything on my first playthrough.

Is it possible to play a character that is in between (like a good guy who doesn't take any shit [like Mal from Firefly]) or would that just make you a neutral boring character?

I'll make my character based off of my own personal decisions that I make in the game. Molyneux said that sometimes you should stop playing after you run into a big decision, and actually think about what you're going to do. I'll probably hold the neutral position. I'll make mostly good choices, but if I find an offer that's just too good, I'll get what I want :P

If Fable 2 is anything like Fable 1, I'll play through the game at least five times. I'll try all kinds of characters.

I always play as the nice guy. It's who I am.
I'll focus on fighting.

Probally a classic bandit, I really hope theres a large selection of clothing and armor!

My first playthrough will be good. 

My second playthrough will be something so incredibly evil.

I'll most likely be an anti hero, the coolest hero

An evil a-hole.

i'll be playing the mage gun-slinger.  Good overall, but still evil where I decide it benifits my character most.

Ill go with an evil MF that will destroy all who apose.

I wonder if there will be some things only a person of one allignment can do.  such as a house that only a good character can buy or a mate that only likes evil bastards. 

Most of my gameplay will be in Co-op with my brother and he's always a good character, so I'll likely take a darker path to balance things out.
For every person he saves, I'll kill one! Or two... Hehe.

I will probably repeat my last fable experience and go through the game with a pure evil and good character of each type

Good- all melee character.

Noble guy, than evil guy. But if what Peter Molyneux said about how being good will cost you you, than I'll just play plain evil. But I probably will just be the guy in the middle some evil deeds here and there.

This will be a really hard decision for me.  In the first Fable i had always figured that being evil would be so much more fun than being good, but when i tried both out I started to have a hell of alot of fun forcing myself to make good decisions and seeing how people reacted to you afterwards.  I think I will try to focus on being good my first time around in Fable 2.  Although, I really cant say for sure just yet.

I am with these guys. Perhaps we an all learn more about ourselves by making these decisions as we actually would. Or it can make the game fun in some different way.
I think after the initial playthrough, I'll do an evil character just for kicks.

Personally I have always been a big magic guy, and I love being bad ass and evil. SO thats where I'd go. Plus some gun action on the side. I thin kit would be awesome if the effects for spells changed a bit based on your evilness/goodness. Like, uber bad ass fireballs, red lightning, all that =)

Depends on if using the glitch in the Fable II pub games will affect your game other than giving you lots of money. If it does i will be deliciously Evil and if it dose not good on my first playthough.

i'd want to play as an evil axe wielding lunatic with a penchant for alcohol and fast women, but i know that given the choice in the game i'll feel guilty and do the good thing

I will be a mix of magic and melee though an article I was reading in Edge magazine seemed to imply it is very difficult to tell if a choice is clearly good or clearly evil. I think it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

It deppends how the ranged attack gameplay feels. I usually love being a ranged attack character, but on some games the gameplay is a bit weird. So I'll either focus on the guns, or on melee attacks depending on how the ranged gameplay ends up being. As for good or evil, I guess it'll depend on the specific decisions, but I usually try to be reasonably good on my first playthrough of games.
