hes just a douche bag. hes pretty much a small time crook. from what ive put together gob is an indentured servant or something and he takes most of novas money so she can stay living and working in the saloon. and will rip almost anyone off. as far as being a slaver i dont think so but i wouldnt put it past him to help actual slavers if he gets paid for it. oh and he pisses in the saloon still when no one is around.

I wish more would have been done with Gob in the game, there should have been a sidequest where you help him (and maybe Nova too) escape to Rivet City or something.

It does, it's just subtle. The name of the Bar becomes Gob's, and Nova stops being a prostitute. She'll say "I'm not in that line of work anymore." Thus implying that Gob got the bar, and Nova stopped being a whore. Although the dialogue does not change very much, if at all.
