    Overview

    Farland Story 2 is a Super Famicom exclusive strategy RPG in the long-running Farland Saga series. Rather than being the second game in the series, the game follows on from Farland Story: Yottsu no Fuuin - the 1995 remake of the first two games, that was released on Super Famicom as well as Saturn, PC, PC-FX and PlayStation. This game is sometimes referred to as Farland Story 2: Dance of Destruction. It is treated as non-canonical by series stalwarts.

    The game follows Riad, the son of the previous game's hero Arc, and his dancer girlfriend Sarena. The duo is forced to flee after her unique powers draw too much interest from the kingdom's warlike minister. As they progress, they acquire additional followers that the player can use in combat. As well as regular human classes like knight and cleric, the player can also pick up shapeshifters like werewolves and other supernatural allies.
