Developed by Day 1 Studios, F.3.A.R. (pronounced "Fear Three") is the final chapter in the F.E.A.R. franchise and continues the twisted story of Alma Wade and her two sons, Paxton Fettel and the Point Man.
Watch the quick look, about halfway through they start playing the campaign on split screen. It looks pretty damn cool, except for the Resident Evil style FUCKING BLACK BARS that are completely and utterly unnecessary.

Yeah, I don't get why loads of split screen games insist on doing that. I have no trouble getting my bearings on regular split screen games like Borderlands or Left 4 Dead. So I have no idea why more and more games these days keep on doing it.
But to keep on topic, yes this does have split screen and Fettel is fucking awesome to play as!
You can also play the games 4 multiplayer modes in split screen, all of which are really inventive. Fucking Run is crazy!
Yeah, just picked it up and had a damn good time playing local. But I... fear... that after I unlock Insane I'll have to finish it alone. And without a friend I can see it being exponentially harder.

I played through the hard difficulty alone, and I died quite a lot. Good Luck, I guess.
