Fighting Force (PSX) 0

When you think of unforgiving, merciless, video games that just smack you in the face on a regular basis, Fighting Force should be among games on that list.  As the game starts off, you are instantly thrown into multiple realms of chaos. A average game that can still be enjoyed 0

They don't mention it but each character has slightly different stats. The beat em up genre was a staple of the NES/SNES generation. Except once the PS1 showed everyone how awesome a polygonal 3D model could be a few developers tried their hand at making a 3D brawler. Most of the time that didn't work out so well but Fighting Force was a exception. Although I didn't know it at the time this was mostly thanks to the fact this game was going to be Streets Of Rage 4 until they lost the rights to it...
