I know allot of MMORPG's are difficult for new players to get into for new players after they've been out for a while because the majority of people who are playing it are super high level, and not many new people are starting out. Is this the case with FFXI, because I'm a big FF fan, but missed out on it when it was first released due to a seriously crappy computer, and no 360? Now I've finally got my 360 online I might be interested on getting it for 360, but I'm worried it might not be easy for new players to get into.

It's a "hard" MMO compared to something like World of Warcraft. But there's always people leveling up new jobs and such, so you won't have trouble finding groups. At least, no more trouble than you usually would (and if you decide to play as a Dragoon, for example, they usually have a lot of trouble with that).

Square-Enix has just announced a new feature called "level-sync", which is apparently like a feature in Everquest 2, but from what I understand a player of any level can sync their level to that of a target player, meaning that there will be greater options for leveling and advancing in the game. If you end up playing and choosing the Odin server, look me up and I can hook you up with a linkshell (equivilliant of a guild in FFXI). Level-sync is coming out in September. You can read about it at:

    Take care!
