The little sheet with the code inside the game doesn't make it clear whether the beta codes given out will be for PS3 or P.C.
I'm fairly certain my PS3 could run the game, my P.C not so much, so it would be much appreciated if someone can tell me which platform the beta is for. If it's for P.C, I'll probably just give the code away to somebody who actually wants it.
Don't take that as an invitation to lie just to get the code however!
Thanks for any future help.

About the beta code that came with the game...
" @CL60: I'm aware of that, but it still puts you in the pool to get chosen for the beta. "It is more if you all ready are in the beta.
" @SecondPersonShooter: It doesn't put you in the pool. When you use the code for the ingame item you are directed to a page with a second 20 digit (I believe) code that you use on an app for the FF14 Beta. When you fill out the beta app and choose PS3 it asks for the code. If you have already signed up for PC and sign up for PS3 to use the code it negates your PC app. Conversely if you sign up for PS3 with the code and then sign up for PC after it will negate your PS3 app. Basically they are talking your most recent application only. "Wow, it looks like they made everything as complicated as they possibly could.
" @SecondPersonShooter: Definitely. I basically signed up for the PS3 beta with the code on my main SE account and created a second account with a different email and used it to sign up for the PC. "Where can one sign up for the beta?
" The code is for PS3, you can sign up for PC on the website. You cannot be signed up for both the PC and PS3 beta at the same time, signing up for one invalidates the other. "... Use different email addresses?
" @The_Laughing_Man: Here "Signed up. Now to wait.
" Noboby will know until they announce it or the game is released and we get it. I doubt it will be anything useful, probably just some novelty item like a piece of furniture for your Mog House (or whatever it is called in FF14) or something. "Colored chocobo?

" Chocobo trinket? "Yep.
"
Course I hope I get into said beta.
The code is for two things: ff14 itenz and as an ff14 beta code for the ps3 version of the beta. It doesn't guarantee you access, but you'd assume that people with the code would get priority over those without it. The PC early beta has started (they're calling it an 'alpha' test), but there is no word on when the ps3 beta will start.
