Square just put-up a new site thingy for Final Fantasy XIII, with a countdown going down from 7 days.

I like the sound the flash makes, so I'm letting it run in the backgrounds. Oh, and I registered. They have my interest piqued. Clever, clever marketing people.

Probably. I just hope it's not bogus like freakin MG IPhone. Still, looking forward to whatever they've got for us. They better show us more than just a new trailer with footage on it.

EDIT: I'm kinda worried though, but i coudn't think what it was before. I hope the battle system doesn't devolve into some kingdom hearts-esque button mash fest. You press x a few times, maybe square too, and it'll do all the cool animations and juggles for you. It seemed the only variety was by mixing in a fireball or whatever. That said it would be pretty sweet, juggling into an ulitma.

That looked pretty average graphically as all ways gameplay graphics never match squares CGI quite a few rpgs specailly out of square loook just as good.

No matter what you think of the Final Fantasy franchise: Squares marketing for the games has always been top-notch, since the SNES days.
