That clip has quickly risen to become one of my favorite Bombcast moments. It's just so damn funny how confident she is of her "sources" and of herself, that she can't take two seconds to look again and go "Oh, woops, misread that." Nope. Instead, SHE FIGHTS TO THE END about how she's right about it costing 775 MILLION DOLLARS. Props to Paul for being the person to finally break down and pretty much say "No! That's stupid, and VERY inaccurate"

The only logical reason I can come up with is that she must have apologized for last year and seemed genuinely sorry to them after the fact and promised to be better this year. I think there were a few times in the video where you could tell the guys were thinking "Oh fuck, here we go again".
I have to admit, I tried to defend Leigh Alexander here, but the $775 million statement is undefendable. I know Riannah and Tony Hawk are expensive gigs, but that amount of money would probably be higher than the net worth of all the talent in the Staples Centre, plus the Staples Centre itself.

Above all the commotion of the comment, I believe Leigh did say that she had dyscalculia. Obviously if you have that there is a clear reason why you could mix up $775,000,000 and $7,500,000. I guess she could have just been saying it to cover up for her mistake, but I'm a trusting person and dyscalculia is not a term most people know off the top of their head.
This joke is always going to be one of those inside jokes on Giant Bomb from now on, but I just thought I'd provide a little perspective before we all get too carried away with it.
Didn't the last one of these threads get locked? I suspect this one will as well. I suggest you all read Pepsiman's blog as that man speaks the truth. Also I haven't seen this latest podcast (to be honest, I'm fearful), is the '<>' thing from it? If not, could someone explain.
