Anyone else listen to the bombcast while playing a game?

Theres nothing better than getting home from work/school on a tuesday night, downloading the newest episode of the Bombcast and listen to it while playing a good PC game for me. The only problem is when i play FPS's, when i burst into laughter over vent on accedent while in the middle of saying something.

Same here, if I play a game while listening I will either miss everything in the bombcast or suck completely at the game.

I like to pop the bombcast over to my ipod and listen to it as I go to sleep.

I play a lot of Street Fighter 3 while I listen to the podcast.

I do... although I listen to other podcasts too.

Tried playing FF4 while listening last night, ended up playing FF4 then listening in bed because I couldn't listen to what they were saying and read the dialogue :P

I do. Even if I listen to the Bombcast while walking to school and back, I'll listen to it a second time while playing either FIFA or Football manager normally. 

I listen to it on the PC, so yeah. I'm usually playing something that doesn't require much attention though, or else I miss a lot.

I listen to podcasts while playing games like Civ 4, wow or Fallout 3. But would not listen to a podcast in COD 4 or L4D

If it's a lay-back game that I can listen to the podcast over without missing anything, such as XBLA games etc., then absolutely. I like listening to it in the car the most though. samcotts said:

I don't really do that.  If I'm going to listen to the podcast I'm just going to listen to the podcast and focus on the discussion.  When I play I usually just focus on the game.

nope. I listen to it at work like I do with all the other podcasts I listen to.  It makes the day so much easier and go by a lot faster.

If I'm at my computer, the only thing I can play without being distracted to the point of ignoring the podcast is Peggle. Hours of it.

You know you can mix the two with a little game called Audiosurf

All the time, but I normally will put the game in windowed mode, so I can easily pause the podcast for story, or intense parts of the games.

I love to race and listen to the bombcast. takes my mind off of my oponents and lets be be a little more loose. I actually end up winning more too! (PGR 4 and Forza by the way)

I will ashamedly admit....I finish my Pogo badges on Tuesday nights while listening to the podcast.

Yep, played SF4 this week while listening to the bombcast; almost makes me better at the game since it forces me to multitask

Totally, as long as I don't really have to think or be involved in the game. Multiplayer, downloadable games, and just tasks that don't require listening or much thinking with words I can definitely play.

No, I cant pay attention to what they say.

I always used to listen to the Hotspot while playing games, most often Halo online. I rarely do that with BC, maybe it's because there's no Rich.

I listen to it when I'm about to go to sleep...last night I actually slept for hours with my headphones on lol.

I listen to music/podcasts a lot when I am playing games.

Some of the music, especially in games like Street Fighter, gets a little old after hearing it for the hundredth time.

Can't say I have, but that gave me an idea.  When I get Deadly Creatures, I might try playing it while listening to the Quick Look.

I only listen to it when I am going to sleep, on the bus or doing my art at either home or at school.

I loose their line of conversation even when I'm totally attracted to to it.

With every Podcast I listen to, especially the Bombcast, I play Video Games why doing so, however if the games text heavy, I just can't do it, fortunately for most games that's not the case.

Yep, I usually play a game while listening to any podcast (or audiobooks for that matter), but it has to be some action game or I can't pay attention to both.  Last night I played Killzone 2 while listing to the Major Nelson podcast.  Played a fair amount of Street Fighter 4 listening to the Bombcast...

Final note : I use a portable MP3 player, I can imagine if you didn't have one you might run into different sorts of difficulties trying to do this.
