Poll Do you want Drew to join the Bombcast regularly? (1816 votes)
Drew seems like a person with a lot of interesting insights on things. Shouldn't he be part of the regular Bombcast and more to the point why isn't he included in the first place?

Drew has some of the coolest fucking stories. I'd absolutely love for him to hop in on the Bombcast.
I wouldn't mind him joining them, if it was easy for them to organize. I mean, even more of the staff having part of their week dedicated to the podcast?
Though, I think Drew would add some things to the Bombcast. He isn't super talkative; so, he probably wouldn't limit the conversation of others. But he is good at chiming in with interesting thoughts or stories. That's a fun kind of person to have around.
I think we're lucky to have Drew and Dave with Giant Bomb. One of the best thing about them is their likable personalities. Looking at Giant Bomb it is pretty cool that everyone is so different but they work together well and that's what makes this site unique and interesting. I'd like for Drew and Dave to be given more opportunities to show what they're about, but given their primary responsibilities I don't know if there is time for them to do it on a regular basis. Sitting in on a podcast for example takes around 3 hours of a day.
he doesn't play enough new games and now he seems to be on the friday show most weeks we get to see more of him.
On the bombcast it would be like
"so, what have you been playing, Drew?"
"err, soe flight sim. I also went kyaking and took a metal working class."
This sounds alot like what we are already getting :P...minus the flight sim.
It's always awesome having Drew and Dave on podcasts/videos, but I kinda like how they aren't in very many. Makes those podcasts/videos that they are in a bit unique, like in a special guest type of way.
Probably not, since he seems to be laid back (not literally though, his posture is perfect) in such a way that he'd probably only occasionally chime in. Between the energy of Jeff, Ryan and Vinny being stupid and joking around and an obvious enthusiasm on Patrick's part to voice some sort of opinion or what have you on basically everything they discuss, Drew seems like he'd be a bit more like Brad's lower key presence. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I figure he's probably got more productive ways he could spend that time with all the work he must have. Six would also be a lot of people to have on a bombcast where everyone isn't drunk.
I do have to say that I really appreciate that Unprofessional Fridays exists though. Not only is it great content, but it's really great that Drew and Vinny, absolutely two of my favourite personalities in the office, get to spend some time on the other side of the cameras.
If I'm given the option between "More Drew" and "Less Drew" I know what I'm choosing. He doesn't need to be a regular just drop him in every now and then.

Yep!
I do want Drew to be on the podcast. Maybe every podcast.
The issue is that I think six people at the same time every week would be a bit too much. It's cool when it's the occasional special guest(s), but I guess it can start to feel a bit crowded if it happens every podcast. Frankly, I prefer the four-people format. So I guess that's why I'm of this opinion.
But I do want Drew on the podcast.
I do, but I want him like he appears in most other quicklooks, as a surprise shout from off mic.
"Look both Wai's"
Yep, this would probably be for the best.

I always like hearing from drew though I don't know if he could keep up with the rest. Also that would mean putting more man hours into something they don't earn money from. Right now with the three hours it takes to record it and five people it takes 15 man hours to produce a podcast, add drew and it's 18. That means they lose 156 working hours a year if they add him, worth it?
You could have stopped there the answer is yes.
Wait a second... God damn it you know what I mean!
I love his expertise in really complicated sim games. His quicklooks are always fascinating and hilarious when combined with Vinny and Dave, I would love to see stuff from him more frequently!

Perfect.
But yeah, I think Drew would be a good addition because, as a few other people noted, he really picks his spots. He lets other people talk most of the time, but when he does speak up, it's always worthwhile and interesting.
You know how in older sitcoms the audience cheers when certain characters come on screen? If Giantbomb were a sitcom Drew and Dave would be those guys. Idk if the audience would cheer if we heard them every week. I think they're awesome though.
No
Drew Dave and Vinny should have their own cast!
If that's not realistic then yes, Drew should be in the bombcast.
He does not need to be on every episode but i would like to see him in the quick looks and the bombcast more often.
I don't think Drew plays enough games to contribute a whole lot during the Bombcast.
I agree and also think he shouldn't be there regularly because the podcast already over 3 hours and add a 6th person would add 30-45 mins more. I would like to see Drew on a E3 podcast or on once in a while, even would like see pax east but someone has to work the camera. Keep up the good work.
Would be awesome to have him on once in a while, he doesn't seem like he'd want to be there every week but maybe drop by to say hey.
