Giant Bombcast 8/5/08 Prep Thread

A couple hours until this week's Bombcast. Time to prepare our ears for another hot awesome injection.

Discuss all the great stuff you expect from the show this week.

I expect a more in-depth discusson of Brad's sideburns, and perhaps a mention of Luchadeer...but we can only pray for thaaat.

Hopefully they announce SIGNATURES in the forums.

Do you think they will try to bring back drinks into the show?

I don't know why everyone's so crazy about drinks. I mean I didn't mind the segments but I would much rather have them talk about the site or games.

I'm not that crazy about them, I would just like to see them commit one way or another.  I always enjoyed hearing some things that weren't about video games.

BLASPHEMY!  It it weren't for the hilarious non-sequitur drink discussion in the Arrow Pointing Down podcast, I wouldn't have repeatedly come back to their podcasts, eventually following the transition to the Giant Bombcast, and eventually, this site.  This means that my lengthy Toejam & Earl wiki entry is all thanks to them talking about Gatorade for a half hour for several episodes.

I have my tissues ready.

But I like the audio pain of them drinking bad drinks.

About what time are they usually posted?

Usually it's up by now, but I'll just half to pass the time by constantly refreshing itunes.

anyone know the exact time? I know San Fran time is hours behind me (right now its 11:35 for me). WHat time will it be here for meh

The Bombcast is usually up by 9PM (west coast best coast)
