Yeah I don't love it. The rest of GB's music has been mad awesome though.
...new song sucks.
I think you meant to say "...new song is new." instead of "...new song sucks." It's a really common grammatical error.
" Also, I was hoping for DSiware shop music to play during that segment :P "Yeah, they should start playing that music whenever they talk about it. That would make that segment so much more awesome if they did.
Would it kill 'em to play a little Foghat?!?
Or maybe, just maybe, our ears could be blessed with the sweet, sweet rhythms of Frankie Goes to Hollywood?
I was so accustomed to the older version, the new one really threw me off. But after hearing it a bunch of times, it is kinda growing on me; except the quality sounds like a 1kb sample; and the fact that the latter half of it is really off-putting, with a really off-key feel to it.
I suggest recomposing the song with the same style (80s action TV series), and record it at a higher quality.
" I like the 70's cop-show sound to it. My only issue is that it gets pretty muddy when all the melodies are playing at once. "this
it's a good idea for a song there's just something a little bit weird about it. it just sounds kinda blurry. to my ears.
Agreed, bring back the old tune. Not saying i hate change or anything, but the new tune is definitely inferior.
I like the direction it's going in, but it ends way too abruptly, and starts out jarringly. A wee bit more editing would do it some good.
The only thing I disliked about the Bombcast previously was the intro music. It's refreshing to have the new one.
I disagree wholeheartedly. I loved when they had violins in the Holiday Theme, so I was thrilled when those made a comeback.
I don't care if the song is two kittens being mauled to death, it's the fucking bombcast and therefore it is awesome.
It feels like a over the top action B movie theme, it doesn't suck as long as you visualize vinnie flying over an exploding car on a harley with the camera focused on his epic moustache .... but i liked the old one better
"That one epic version of the theme song they used ONCE (i think it was for some kind of pax podcast or something) was amazing. where the hell did that one go? "
