can't log in using username

not sure if this is a bug or a change, but i can't log in using my username, i finally tried using my email and it worked. i have never had this happen before.

Yeah I just had the same issue, I figured out how to sign in by seeing your post.

This just happened to me too, also the first time it's happened. Initially I tried resetting my password and that didn't work; it wasn't until I saw this post that I used my email address instead of my username, which ended up working.

Yep using the email as username worked here too. Wonder if some policy got changed somewhere.

Closing this one, looks like there were two topics about this issue started at the same time. Keeping the other one because it has a slightly more descriptive title.
