Look, don't get me wrong. Those two QLs were absolute gold. However, I do not think we should be petitioning the crew into doing features they do not want to do. If they want to keep going, that is great. Let's keep this FMV train rollin. But, it should be up to them. They should decided what videos that they want to make. Not what we petition them into doing.
@generalzod37: Very true.
And with that said I would love to see a series! ^_^
@generalzod37: Agreed.
But nothing wrong in letting them know that the community wouldn't mind seeing more of this great, and also "great", game.
@generalzod37: Yeah, but we can show our interest and enthusiasm, right?
This is not going to happen.
The game is brand new and during the quicklook they already were scared about playing too much of the game.
If they did a full playthrough of this game immediatly, none of us would be purchasing the game since we already saw 100% of the content. It's not fair for the developer to put the full game out there.
Maybe in a year or 2.

Though that's only true for the Steam version, as someone in the comments section already pointed out that the iOS version came out in january.

I agree that a full playthrough wouldn't happen because it's a new game and GiantBomb seems to have a strict policy on showing off new games. The Persona 4 endurance run was when that game was only like 4 months old and that was pretty early in GiantBomb terms of showing off the entirety of a game.
However, I have a problem with your claim here. The problem being that it is simply not true. You can argue that a majority of people wouldn't buy it (I could maybe see that) but there will of course be people who want to buy it to play along, as is what happened during the Chrono Trigger ER. Or even people who will buy it after the fact to play it themselves. But yeah, ignoring the poor phrasing you still have a good point.
@onemanarmyy: I disagree for three reasons. 1. Anyone willing to buy the game from Quick Look coverage would certainly already have done so by the time this video series starts. 2. Your discounting people who would want to purchase this game to support the dev (as I did with deadly premonition and persona 4 and will probably do for this too). And 3. This site is an entertainment news outlet, not an advertisement for games, so if something is entertaining and the audience wants it they have no reason not to. Unless something on there end prevented them. I'm willing to bet more sales would result from an video serious then less. Also the game is about 6 months old at this point and I'm sure playthroughs have already been posted elsewhere.
Signed!
I'm so down for this to become a series! Please do this. It immediately became my favorite quick look in all of giant bomb! I hope this works!
GUYS - DID YOU SEE THE COMING UP ON GIANT BOMB SECTION?!
THEY'RE GOING TO PLAY MORE TOMORROW
WE MADE THIS HAPPEN

And another GB endurance run where the guys refuse to call it an endurance run begins!
Not that i'm complaining, but come on; MGScanlon, Breaking Bradborne, and VinnyVania all fall into the endurance run format. It's almost as if they're avoiding using those words as the user base gets a little crazy when they do.
@zabant: Breaking Bradbourne is part of the Breaking Brad series, and only covers the endgame dungeon content you need to do to get the platinum trophy, not the game proper.
As for the other two, I suppose the distinction is that they are playthroughs of an entire series of games, as opposed to just one.
I think the real distinction in their minds, though, is that Endurance Runs are something that has a new episode every single day, whereas these video series are weekly or bi-weekly. At least, that's what Jeff's said in the past about why they don't do Endurance Runs anymore.

I guess the 'play every day' (or rather, a new episode uploaded every day as let's be honest, they recoded them in blocks) stipulation is what truly defines an endurance run.
For me though it's simply finishing a video game on cam, bioforge was an endurance run to me.
While I thinks it's cool that they are diving back in I doubt thirty something guys posting on the forums was the cause for it.
Looking forward to the next video.
It would have been the dozens of comments pleading for them to continue.

I think that its more that the Endurance Run format specifically was that there was going to be a new video every day until the game was finished. Stuff like Breaking Bradborne and VinnyVania are way more scattered.
Can't wait
