The image tool needs these changes as soon as possible to keep my sanity and time in tact.

  • Select a group of images and put them all into a folder at once. None of this dragging each individual picture nonsense. I should be able to select all of the images and drag them into the folders I want. Four, five clicks at most.
  • Assign an image a folder from the individual viewing page. Going back to the image grid page, finding the image and then dragging it into the folder or the bin is such a pain.
Thank you.

Making demands is a great way to get things you want from busy people!

Making sarcastic remarks is a great way to show everyone just how witty and cool you are!

Well, if they're going to program it so that multiple images can be grabbed, then hotkeys like ctrl+clicking and shift+clicking would be welcome too.

But I'm not trying to be pushy, I don't mind how the image tools work now.

Totally agree but as dealing with images isn't the main way I edit the site it's not that urgent to me.

I personally deal with images quite a bit. Well, I used to. I've toned down image uploading quite a bit since the new image editor was launched. I actually find it more tedious and hard to use than the old one. Although I appreciate the work that went into the new editor, performing batch tasks is just a pain now. Too many clicks, too many long mouse movements, inability to easily fix mistakes, etc.  And I see a lot of images in the mod queue where people haven't placed the image in the appropriate galleries, presumably because they don't even know how.

I decided not to mess around with images because I could never learn how to use the drag and drop image thing. Way to confusing, which is weird for me.

Sounds like an issue to me. Any suggestions what you would all like to see how the images worked?

I stay away from image editing in general. It's a pain in the ass just to get a picture in the right place.
