Request to change a person into a character

I made a page for Pavel Datsyuk and after I noticed that other NHL players are characters, not people.  I would like someone to change him into a character and then that way I can add his stats in game to his page.

Create a character page and copy the information over. Then the person page can be deleted. It is unfortunately not possible to change a page's type.
