Pricing error on Target's store (This is now fixed)

I'm really not sure if these are against the rules, but Target has the digital edition on their store for 20 bucks right now.

No idea if they will honor it yet, I put in my order and I am waiting for my code. Wouldn't be surprised if they don't honor it, but figured some duders might want to know just in case.

My order is "delayed" which almost assuredly means "canceled tomorrow".

Some people on reddit were saying they got confirmation codes after the delayed email? They might have been lucky though.

Edit: I just got a code after initially getting the delayed email.

Everyone gets the delayed email, but I got my code and am downloading it now. Remember this is a cross buy thing so even if you only want one version you get them both. That was all I needed to know.

Aren't their hands tied in situations like these? If you bought it for those prices then they have to take the hit and honor them no? I feel like that's the case every other time it happens.

I can't buy it in the UK unfortunately. I don't know if the code would work on my account even if I could get one.

Nah, not at all. I've seen more of these types of pricing errors end in refunding the money than actually giving the costumer the product at <50% of the normal price

I got my copy but after reading all the horror reports on PC, I'm going to sell it for double the price.

Be sure to add a healthy dose of salt to those horror reports as usual :)

Logged in on the US version of the site, used some bogus address info (just typed in random numbers in the zip code and phone number box, that I guess was somewhere in Seneca?)

Got "delayed" email, code came 30 mins after. Downloading now :)

Nah they seem very legitimate, it has a major CPU utilisation problem. There are people putting their settings on lowest and ultra with hardly any FPS change. It's crazy.

I sold my key for over double what I paid for it. Awesome!

Man...I put in an order just as soon as it was mentioned in UPF today but they cancelled my order :/ Other people were saying they were able to get it in chat I wonder why they got through but I didn't.

They probably had enough of people bying a game for half the price. When it was just a mistake and a few well meaning customers got a good deal its no problem but when its an internet race to exploit a missprint from a store it becomes more so.

So I had my order canceled, tried the customer service chat help and the rep said the best they would offer is a 5% discount for the game if I reordered. I then went to the customer service desk of my local store, showed them the order confirmation and cancellation e-mails and got a $19.99 (+tax) disc version of the game because they were out of code cards. So if your order was canceled and you live near a store, try going in and see if they hook you up like they did me, or maybe I'm just lucky.

I got my copy!!
