A low poly model of Vinny

Hi everyone

For some time I was trying to make a low poly model of our Vinny, so now that I kinda did, I wanted to share with you guys, apologies if here is not the right place to post.

Also I'd like to make an isometric game possible with this model, using Unity3D. As I only can say that I have a little experience with poly modeling using Blender, would take a while to grasp the tools.

But maybe I get there, who knows.

I don't know how I feel about this. The model is great. But modelling Vinny is a very strange passtime.

I was thinking of something like Torchlight. At least make a scene, makes some zombies (why not, right?), items and score based.

If anyone is interested in developing this idea, I'd love some help. At the moment, all I can do is help with modeling in blender.

Yeah, i know, at first seemed odd looking for references, but then you get used to? I don't know if that is good or bad.

I've been wanting to do a Zbrush sculpt of Luchadeer for a while now, this gives me some motivation to start but I'm just too lazy.

That's really well done, I wish I could motivate myself to do something similar.

I think it looks awesome and I'm sure there are some dudes around this place that could help you get started on a game. I run into "look at this game I'm currently making" blog posts every once in a while.

I would like to add that if you ever do make a game starring Vinny, you make it so there are no saves because Vinny's self-diagnosed "poor memory" made him forget AND he won't start at level 8, for example, because he "needs to play level 1-7 first".

Looks awesome dude! I would love to help out but I have no experience what so ever with blender. If you need help with stuff involving video though maybe I could be of some help. Keep up the creativity and looking forward to your game!

I wanted to practice some "cartoonization" and modelling for a while, and a kinda thought Vinny would be good for this. If I happen to finish this, I'd like to at least expand to Ryan, Jeff and Brad as playable characters?

Aside of having the little time to make, it's definitively hard for me to get the look right. It got some tries.

Uh, every aspiring modeler ever? It's pretty common for artists to do portraits or replicate things as practice.

It's surprising how low-ploy can still look so good. But to be honest, Vinny doesn't have that much hair. He suffers from very low-poly hair syndrome.
