Console midnight premiere will you be there?

Yea, planning on being there for my Xbox One. I don't live in a super heavily populated area so there's not really a need to camp out or anything. Go up to my Gamestop (one of the few staffed by super helpful people) about 10pm, finish my transaction and talk with some friends til midnight. then it's back home to hook it up!

I'm not buying a new console, but I wouldn't attend a midnight release anyway, mostly cause I'd have work the next morning so I wouldn't even get to play it.

Nah, i'm thinking of just ordering from Amazon soon-ish. At the very worst it'll be there a couple days after the console is out.

From my decades of experience, one thing that is always a constant is that launch system owners get screwed over somehow. Because of this I will wait until Christmas 2014 to purchase a console.

If I do end up preordering a new console (unlikely), it will be most definitely be though Amazon. So while I won't be up at midnight waiting for [insert console], i could see myself taking the day off to mess around.

No because where I live you're pretty safe to just go into the store that morning and pick up your preorder.

Man, last time I went to a midnight launch was for the original black ops. It was cold and we had to wait outside in a dark parking lot. Me and my friend started getting nervous when dudes in a car kept staring at us, mothafuckas kept looking like they was about to rape somebody. Ever sense I never went to a midnight launch again.

But I wouldn't go anyway, I have a Ps4 preorder and camping outside in Norway during winter gets pretty cold.

Was going to do it for the hell of it and because I've never done it before, but it turns out I'll be in the wrong country. :(

Nope, that's what pre-ordering is for. I was 17 when the 360 came out, and I waited inside a Walmart for 18 hours with a couple of my friends. I'm not putting up with that shit again.
