My Birthday is coming up in February, and my folks said they'll buy me a game for it. I've had zilch game money for a while, so which ever game I don't pick up on launch, I might not get at for a month or two. So, if I want, I can pick up ME2 on launch day. OR I can pick up BS2, which actually drops on my birthday. I honestly can't decide which to pick up.
What say you, GB?
Decision Time: Mass Effect 2 or BioShock 2?
Yeah, Mass effect 2 seem like the better choice. They had planned for the story for Mass Effect to be in 3 parts, whereas in Bioshock it feels like they are just tacking on more stuff, as a fan service.
ME2
.... wow, that's an overwhelming majority right there. It's a sure fire AAA game. B2? Have to wait for reviews to find that out - like people said, it's a sequel to a game that never needed one. It looks solid gameplay-wise but it was the story that made Bioshock great, not the decent but not spectacular gameplay. And with Ken Levine no longer the creative lead on this project, I'm playing it safe and keeping my expectations low
both, i find it funny how almost nobody is excited for BS2, i know kevin levin isnt working on it... still gonna be good if not great...
Buy Mass Effect 2 and rent BioShock 2. That's what I'm doing.
" Buy Mass Effect 2 and rent BioShock 2. That's what I'm doing. "That's a good idea.
just gonna throw out there, Bioshock 2, because I never played Mass Effect, but have played Bioshock 6.5 times (2 different gamer accounts, both endings, and Midway through getting the evil ending on PC). WOO, REBEL REBEL!!
So sad, i just tried playing ME again, and i got a headache 10 seconds in, that game does not want me to play it.
I never finished either ME or Bioshock, bioshock cause my computer kept blue screening. However, i'd have to say out of those two ME2 is by far the better choice, if you look at all the pros and cons. I'm assuming 360 yeah?
