does anyone know how to gift microsoft points?

A buddy and I want to go halfsies on a sweet deal for a microsoft points card. So we basically need to transfer points from one account to another. Is this even possible?

Ive been wondering the same thing myself... doesnt look like :(, but ima keep researchen'. looks like you can only gift download codes for games.
even that sounds like a bitch, I wish I could get my girlfriend a game for her account so when she turns it on its like a cool little surprise

no idea. but if you go to the xbox.com website, you can buy points online in 5 dollar increments. Since everything is in multiples of 5 in the store you can just select the number of points you want without having to pool your money with a friend.

I do not think it is possible to transfer points between accounts.
