Doesn't it Suck When Your Game Freezes...

Right when you are about to win a game or something. 
 
I've been playing a game of Civilization Revolution for the past hour and I was about to achieve victory after nuking Gandhi's ass and my 360 froze.  I really do not want to restart and like an idiot I did not save any time near where the game froze.   
 
So what are your stories of frustration of a game freezing?

I hate when I'm grinding Vampire Rain: Altered Species and my ps3 overheats from the intense graphic overload. This has happened numerous times and is just one example of how the ps3 fails.

I've had it happen, from Kid Icarus: Of Myths & Monsters (RIGHT IN THE ENDING!!!) and Okami (seems the Wii couldn't handle the graphics, from what I could gather) to Devil Survivor (research has told me it was a programming error) and Assassin's Creed (great, now I have to kill that guy again).

havent had any freezes since i fixed my PC so.. hurray!
